So who is this experimental aircraft builder with an artistic flair?
My name is Glen Porter, and I grew up in the Southern California area. I have always enjoyed drawing aircraft
and even designed one and did the engineering required to build and fly it.
After high school, I entered the Marine Corps as a Private and then retired some 24 years later as the Executive Officer
of a Marine Corps Squadron. During that time, I never lost my interest in drawing but had little time to pursue it while
collecting several advanced degrees.
Now 44 years after joining the Marine Corps, I have the time and the interest to again create art that has both form and
purpose. While at the same time building another Experimental Airplane.
